About Us

Larry Walker Construction has been building homes in the Columbus area for 30 years. We typically build between 4-8 homes a year. We are currently building contract and spec houses in north Columbus and southern Harris County.

People -
We have three employees, Larry Walker, Nathan Blevins, and Laurie Blevins. Larry is a Georgia Tech engineering graduate and former Georgia Power executive that started the business in 1977. He established himself as one of the most reputable contractors in this area. Laurie is also a Georgia Tech engineering graduate and former engineering manager for Milliken & Co. that currently assists in administrative work. Nathan graduated from Clemson University and has an M.B.A. from U.S.C., and also was an engineering manager for Milliken & Co. Nathan is currently the President, field manager and the primary customer contact.

We take pride in the accumulated experience of everyone that works on your home. Our framer, trim carpenter, bricklayer, grading contractor, etc., each have over thirty years experience in the home construction business. Their craftsmanship, pride, and integrity are what help make us successful.

Our process of specifications, documentation, scheduling, and updates produce satisfied customers. Being detailed in specs, scheduling, and updates avoids surprises. We attempt to be transparent in our process, so that you are as informed as possible at every stage of the home.
